Hard to say good bye....
I want to dedicate this post to my grandma, Ivalene Hamlin. She was such a strong and dedicated woman to her family and to her friends. I admired her so deeply, partially b/c we have such similar personalities. She had been fighting ovarian cancer for 4 years. Unfortunately and very quickly Monday night, God called her home. She was such a beautiful person and one of my best friends. Saying good bye was the hardest thing that I have ever done. There were so many things that I wish I could have said before she passed away. However, most importantly, I know she is in heaven and I will see her again. I picture her to be Travis' and Taylor's guardian angel b/c I know that she'll keep them in line growing up. Grandmom, I am so proud of you; I will miss you so much; and I love you.
Please pray for my grandpa and my family as we grieve for her loss. I promise, Grandmom, that Travis and Taylor will remember you. I will miss our nightly chats!

Girl...you made me cry reading that. You have been in my thoughts and prayers daily...I understand what you are going through. She knew how much you loved her and was so proud of you. She bragged about you often and especially your nightly chats.
Sorry I was unable to answer when you called the other night. I was at a Rangers game with the boys and didn't hear the phone and then they were here all weekend. It's been crazy. Love ya girl!!!
